Daily Prayer

August 31, 2021 A daily prayer from the New England Conference The clergy and laity of the New England Conference are sharing a daily prayer based on the Revised Common Lectionary for the week. You are welcome to use these in worship or in your own devotions. Today's Prayer Merciful Lord, We humbly come before your glorious presence and confess our sins. We misunderstand that all that we have comes from ourselves. With ignorance and bias, we neglect those who need your grace and love. O Lord, we, now, seek your wisdom and heart. May we remember that you are the creator of all things. Help us to share our bread with the poor. Encourage us to sow the seeds of your justice and peace in the world.
