A daily prayer from the New England Conference
The clergy and laity of the New England Conference are sharing a daily prayer based on the Revised Common Lectionary for the week.
You are welcome to use these in worship or in your own devotions.
Today's Prayer
Thank you, O God, for your promise to be with us, and to hold us and heal us and help us to not be afraid. We do trust in you. We offer you our days and choices, asking you for guidance, for leading. We give you our pain and our fears, seeking your touch of peace and assurance. We offer you our anxieties and weaknesses, for we need your strength. We give you our future, for we know you will keep us. And as you promise us sight and hearing, abundance and dancing, we promise you faithfulness, to accept your bountiful gifts and to rejoice in your life for us. We are yours, O God, in deep gratitude, and we trust in your love always. Amen.
Based on Psalm 125:1 and Isaiah 35:4-7a Mary Miller, Mars Hill United Methodist Church and United Parish Church, Fort Fairfield
