A daily prayer from the New England Conference
The clergy and laity of the New England Conference are sharing a daily prayer based on the Revised Common Lectionary for the week. You are welcome to use these in worship or in your own devotions.
Based on Psalm 111
Holy and Awesome One,
We give you thanks and praise for the many blessings that you have given to each of us, both seen and unseen,
We rejoice that we have the opportunity to gather together, in person and virtually, to share your works with our friends and neighbors.
We see you revealed to us in so many ways, through the wonders of your grace and mercy, as you provide us with all that we need.
We recognize your presence in our lives. Give us the wisdom to see you when our vision is clouded especially in these days of uncertainty.
We ask that you be with each of one of us as we seek to discern your calling so we can be obedient to your will and way. Allow each one of us to be your hands, your feet, and your voice each and every day as we seek to be a world of peace and justice.
All of which we ask, in the name of Your son that you sent to be our Redeemer, Jesus. Amen.
Rich Hughen, Conference Lay Leader and Member of the Western Maine CLM Cohort
