Members of the New England Conference Extended Cabinet are sharing a daily prayer based on the Revised Common Lectionary for the week.

Today's Prayer

Lord, God, you made the heavens and the earth. And it was good. You sent light: the sun, moon and stars. And it was good. You made the sky, the earth and the seas. And it was good. Yow made vegetation, night and day, and the seasons. And it was good. You made the sea creatures and the birds and the creatures on the ground. And it was good. Then you made humankind. And it was good. You entrusted us with the care of the land. Sometimes we have honored that trust yet sadly sometimes, we have not. Creative and forgiving God, ignite our spirits with the passion to care for all you created. Forgive the ways we have failed in our sacred trust and restore in us, the desire and wisdom to do what is right, just and necessary. And it will be good! Amen. By Rev.
