Daily Prayer

February 15, 2022 A daily prayer from the New England Conference The clergy and laity of the New England Conference are sharing a daily prayer based on the Revised Common Lectionary for the week. You are welcome to use these in worship or in your own devotions. Today's Prayer Prayer inspired by Luke 6:27-38 Father God, your ways are complex beyond understanding, yet simple and essential to every moment. Like breathing, or the beating of my own heart, you are essential to me. I long to live the life you have planned for me, and to please you with my choices. May I remember to choose transparency over deceit, and to love without reason, without anticipation of gain. May I give freely from my abundance; you are the source of all good things. When I am tempted to rush to judgement, may I be reminded your love is blind to my flaws and faults. Lead me, Lord, your servant. Amen Rebecca L. Andrew, Granite District Committee on Ordained Ministry, member of Contoocook United Methodist Church
