A daily prayer from the New England Conference

Today's Prayer

Scriptural Passage: John 1: 1-18 O God, giver of life, we thank you for Jesus, the Word who was with you the Word who is with you the Word through whom all things came into existence the LIght of all people the Light in the darkness that cannot be put out. We thank you for Jesus the Word made flesh in poets and prophets, and all who bear witness to the Light of the world rejected by their kin received by believers given power to be the children of your Light. We pray for your coming in grace and in power to walk with light in our darkness, despair, and fear. Let your Word be enfleshed in our sacred, flawed lives, in the messiness of a world yearning for peace, peace that only you give. In name of Christ Jesus, who lives with you and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen By Bishop Sudarshana Devadhar
