A daily prayer during this COVID-19 crisis
During these difficult days, members of the Commonwealth East District of the New England Conference are sharing a daily prayer based on the Revised Common Lectionary for the week. You are welcome to use these in worship or in your own devotions.
Today’s prayer
Psalm 19 God of Light, Who sends us sun in the pits of despair, We thank you that even in the shadow of so much loss, you bring a light to our eyes that compels us to keep moving forward. When death clings to the very air we breathe, give us the courage to grieve, to bear witness, to heal -- And then revive us so that we might breathe new life again Through the power and presence of your resurrecting Spirit, amen.
