A daily prayer during this COVID-19 crisis
During these difficult days, members of the Katahdin District of the New England Conference are sharing a daily prayer based on the Revised Common Lectionary for the week. You are welcome to use these in worship or in your own devotions. Today’s prayer
Oh God, you have taught me the way of love. You have shown me what is good and you have made it so clear to me how to live. I l love you, Lord God, and I want to live my life in the manner you have taught me. And there are some days when I come pretty close. Yet, there are more days when I do not. While I long to live as you would have me, I give in to selfishness, greed, anger, and jealousy. I am grateful for you mercy, Lord. For I do delight in your ways and I know that Jesus is still redeeming my faulty attempts. Thank you Lord, thank you. Rev Dr Jackie Brannen, KADS Romans 7: 15-25
