A daily prayer during this COVID-19 crisis
During these difficult days, members of the Many Waters District of the New England Conference are sharing a daily prayer based on the Revised Common Lectionary for the week. You are welcome to use these in worship or in your own devotions.
Today’s prayer
John 1:1-5, 14 God of beginnings, God through whom we have life, God whose light penetrates our darkness. On this Christmas Eve, May the darkness of our time be illuminated by your grace and truth. May the weight of our cares be lifted by the strength of your amazing presence. May our muted voices burst forth in songs of praise to your living Word whose coming we anticipate and celebrate.
