Deuteronomy 31:8
"The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."
Moses tells his people that they will go on without him, but that God will never allow them to be alone. Once again scripture describes the sense of being lonely or alone, even in the context of being in a large group. God is the constant. In my case it is simply forgetting to turn to God which allows me to experience that kind of loneliness. This morning I am so very thankful to be where I am, with my family. God is here with us, and with you. Always.
Heavenly Father, I am thankful beyond words. My heart is full. Amen.

Deuteronomy 31:8
It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”
Jesus has already gone before us on the cross. He prepares the way for us to be in relationship with God. God is with us in the form of the Holy Spirit. Because I believe that Jesus died for my sins and rose from the dead, victorious over death, and I have received the Holy Spirit. If we are confused about someone who claims to be a Christian, but walks away from God, then they were never true believers; a true believer is still a sinner (w…
