A Daily Devotion for Nov. 26, Thursday

1 Thessalonians 4: 13-14, 16-18

I read these passages with mixed emotions, because I know what I want them to be saying, but they don’t exactly say it. I realize Paul was reassuring the people, not wanting them to worry about those who had died while awaiting Jesus’ second coming. I guess I want to believe we don’t have to wait for Jesus’ second coming in order to go to Heaven and be with God. Any clarification on this point in scripture would be appreciated! ❤️ On a happier note, I am thankful for everything God has created, all His blessings and all His Grace. I wish my brain could have a better understanding of God’s will and his plan, but I also know God has given me everything I need, and much more. On this Thanksgiving day, I am truly thankful. God, you are so good! Amen
