2 Corinthians 3:16-18

But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his image with ever increasing glory, which comes from the lord, who is the Spirit.

I feel Paul is harsh in his description of the Jewish faith. After all, it is the same God we worship. Actually, it is much easier for us to know God than it was for the people before Christ. We are allowed a closer communion and relationship with God. This is truly freedom. We no longer need to worry or wonder if we have done enough, or are good enough. ❤️

Holy Lord, with Christ, you have removed all barriers to approaching you. You remain a mystery, but this is easier to bear when we have access to you, and have met you through Jesus. Through Jesus, we draw closer and closer to you. I am so thankful. Amen
