Romans 8:31-32
What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all- how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
What is difficult for me to remember is this: even though God gives us everything we need, including help in carrying our burdens, it will not always look like the help we were expecting, or felt we needed. Like other answered prayers, God’s help with our burdens may come in unexpected forms. When I call out for peace or emotional strength, it may not come that instant. But I can be sure, if God is for me, there can be no one winning against me.
Father God, With you in my heart, I have strength and peace. You are generous beyond all measure. I am eternally grateful. Amen

Romans 8:31-32 God means many different things to many different people. There are a lot of people who believe that there is no such thing as a God. There are people who believe he does not exist because no one has ever seen him. I personally believe that there is a God because of my faith. I have faith and I feel that God is real. I have many reasons why I believe, three reasons that stand out for me about who he is. - God is always there for me, God is my friend, and God is my creator. These are my three most important reasons what God means to me. Sometimes I feel that God has let m…
Romans 8: 31-32 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all---how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?”
No matter what circumstances life throws at us, what difficulties we face on earth, or what problems we may be called upon to face, God in His grace knows each and every situation. He then uses it for our eternal benefit. God has given us access to His gift of grace and to find help in times of need. He gave us His Son.
Father God, thank you for forgiving…
Romans 8:31-32 What shall we say about such wonderful things as this? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Since he did not spare even his own son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? The apostle Paul has given us some of the most encouraging words in these verses. They are meant to reassure us that in the midst of our sufferings and burdens God will be there with us. It doesn’t say things will change or get better right away, but it gives me the impression that through all that, God will be with me. These verses give us what we need – hope. Prayer, Gracious God, knowing you are…

What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all -- how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
When we struggle with burdens we often find help from others in the community, but they aren’t truly lift until we bring them to God through prayer. Talking them through in quiet with God seems to complete the process.
Dear Lord thank you for this assurance of always be for us. We rely on it. Amen.
Romans 8:31-32 - “ . . . If God is for us, who can be against us? . . .”
Scripture does not say no one can be against us. Rather, it emphasizes the insignificance of those who are. In comparison to God, just who are these adversaries. Nothing, really. We need to remember that when our faith is mocked. This by no means translates into being haughty or deliberately adversarial about what we believe, but one can be humble and confident at the same time. We are supported by the ultimate burden-bearer. While this does not shield us from opposition, it renders such opposition puny and impotent in the eternal realm.
Prayer - God of power and might, I…
