God of all knowledge and wisdom; as we prepare to embrace a new school year, we thank you for the blessing of learning and for the school faculty and staff who help our students learn. We pray for peace in the classroom and on the school grounds so that learning may take place. We pray for protection of all students that they remain safe and healthy throughout the school year. We pray for a spirit of purity in which all students regard the honor code seriously and strive to conduct themselves properly. We pray for a passion for learning that drives all students toward the goal of excellence in all they do in furthering their education. And Lord, we pray for perspective, knowing that we are all gifted in different ways. Help our students find ways to connect with and respect others in a way that honors and glorifies You.
