A daily prayer during this COVID-19 crisis for August 13, 2020

During these difficult days, members of the Seacoast District of the New England Conference are sharing a daily prayer based on the Revised Common Lectionary for the week.
 

You are welcome to use these in worship or in your own devotions.

       Based on Mathew 11:28-30

God, open my eyes
        that I might see my church
       as You see it.
       Let me see
       where change needs to take place,
       even if it is painful to me.
       And use me, I pray,
       to be an instrument of that change
       whatever the cost.
