A Daily Devotion for Thursday, April 8

Luke 19: 1-10

verse 10: “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.”

When I read the entire passage this morning, I initially felt a little “left out.” I don’t consider myself “lost” but I know I fit in the scene somehow. I began to think of myself as the tree. I can help Jesus by helping others find him. I can be safe, dependable, a landmark along the way, and offer others a way to find and meet Jesus.
 

Heavenly Father, I no longer am lost, but have been found by you. I will not lose my way. I want to help others to find you, to see you, and to meet you. Put me to work, set me down in places where I can be helpful. Amen
